Actually, some of my 6th grade boys have taught me a few things. We are a uniform school, due to gang activity. However, they come up with stuff all of the time. The newest thing was how they wore their shoelaces. They would wear different color of shoelaces for each shoe. They have all of "their signs", which I have zero tolerance for. The main gang that we have is SSL (Southside Locos).Mrs. Norm, that is truly sad.

I knew some of those guys back in the late 80s/early 90s. One of my best friends was getting on the fringe of their gang. These are probably their kids. Wait, maybe I knew some of the Riverside Vatos (sp?). I think they are rival gangs.
