Better reading than suicide notes or about bad parents

It's really interesting to see what these people did and hear what they say before they're put to death. Some of the cases don't make sense (2 guys kill someone, but the snitch gets 50 years while the other guy gets the juice).

The majority seem to be remorseful, but it's pretty interesting to see how many people refuse to acknowledge their own sins and still want to blame somebody. There are a couple where it makes you wonder if an innocent person is really going down. Most admit something, but some seem pretty disturbing.

Follow this link if you want to read some of them:

Here's a site with more information on the cases:

Here's one that makes me think a certified lunatic got it. If you know me, you know I'm not one to defend guilty people on death row (Romans 13:3-5), no matter how crazy they claim to be (i.e. Andrea Yates). However, you can't fake crazy all the way to your final breath like this guy. Unbelievable....

Read what he did and the motive for doing it. When I looked at the picture and read the motive, I thought he had to be a little unstable.

Now read his final words and there's no question how crazy he was. Apparently he wasn't lying about the motive.

There's no doubt he did not need to be in society, but I don't think I could have put him to death. The guy was a true nutcase. He had tried to kill people twice before this, but the jury found him incompetent both times. Somehow he kept getting released, and thus kept trying to kill people (finally succeeding). Texas has no life w/out parole option, so Rick Perry let him ride the lightning. Fascinating case.

I know. Most of them you can tell they're guilty after looking through the case files and seeing the overwhelming evidence, but there are a couple that make you wonder...
