    just getting cuaght up, damn both OU and OSU dropped their first games? not the start I expected.. big games on Friday now..

    Correct me if I am wrong.. If Tech beats NU tonite, then Texass advances to the Big 12 finals.

    Texas has to lose, period. They own series against everyone else in their bracket so a tie would be broken by that.

    I'm pretty sure a two way tiebreaker goes head to head and a three way goes by seed. Texas lost 2 of 3 to Nebraska earlier this season.

    If Tech holds on to beat Nebraska and beats Baylor on Saturday, then Texas' game against Nebraska becomes meaningless. Texas would just throw some little used pitchers and save McCulloch and Alaniz for Sunday. If that happens, it would put Texas, Nebraska, and Tech potentially at 2-1 in the tourney. Texas would advance because they're the higher seed.

    Youre right, ATX. FOrgot NU won that series vs UT.

    NU is up on TT 6-3 right now in the 7th.

    So...we are out of the championship hunt. OSU lost tonight, so they are out of the hunt.

    Yea, sux... I havnt been impressed with Tex lately, think they will still host a Reg? The Big12 winner should get one, right, that would steal a place?

    Whorns will get one and may still get a super regional. I think Nebraska gets a regional, win or lose Sunday. I don't see KU or MU hosting.
