    So the guy's 25-16 as a starter but he's a hero in asstin because he's 4-0 against OU. Either you guys love mediocrity or OU's a bigger rival than many whorn brethren would lead you to believe (especially considering this was pre-Big 12 days).

    Pete went to HS over by where I lived. A real uppity fraternity kid and pretty abnoxious. But he mellowed alot during and after college. He basically said the same thing you are saying about his 4-0. It was more of a team thing and a huge credit to our defense to rise up and beat a better opponent for the most part. It was a good streak for us in the series, and I'm sure a frustration to you guys.

    Overall, Mac's right. Those were some bad days for our team and program other than the 4-0. Really, I can't get that giddied up about it.

    those were my first four Red River games. also the first time I ever heard state and school smack.
    then I saw the Texas band bring out it's conference flags and that gave me a good laugh.
