Just as it hit, the #x*&%! power went out. When it came back on the cable was out so could'nt report...that all was well.
We caught the southern tip and the high breezes and heavy rain lasted about half and hour...whew!
Still, 'twas fun standing on the balcony of El Mondo Condo, Tanqueray 'Tini in one hand, Marlboro (Medium 100) in 'tother, watching the stuff and hearing the ambulances, squad cars, and fire trucks shriek past us.
It was nothing compared to what my beloved, native, Sooner State endures.
North Texas, however, got a bigger dose.
