Most of their major violations involve football but there are also involves alleged cash gifts given to basketball players by boosters after they graduated and Roy Williams alledgedly knew about it. There is also mention of illegal gifts to JR Giddens and another player (Jackson I think).
This has the potential to overshadow the problem of too many phone calls.
I don't think KU meets again with the NCAA again until August so now it looks like they get to sweat things for a while.
Incidently I know a baseball recruit that once got multiple checks for the expenses on the same recruiting trip. I've know this guy my whole life so I can tell you with 100% confidence that it happened.
