Yesterday, after experiencing my first Sooner Springtime tornadic episode in 28 years, complete with the pattering of hailstones and the wail of the tornado siren, it is indeed wonderful to be back home among you. I even squirted a tear or two.
Nothing makes an Okie who has been away for far too long feel more like home than observing the majestic and terrible power of nature unleashed from an immense afternoon Oklahoma skyscape.
