I think they showed some heart and courage but very little in the way of brains....so I'd vote for the Scarecrow.
If Kelvin doesn't get things figured out soon he might be clicking his ruby sneakers together and headed elsewhere.
Cowardly Lion:No Courage
Tin Man: No Heart
Scarecrow: No Brain
Wicked Witch Of The West: Just Plain Nasty

Beware the man who would rule you for your own good. He will never cease. He will regulate every aspect of your life, destroy your liberty and enslave you, and sleep well convinced that he has made the world a better place.
No heart
Know thy self,
know thy enemy.
A thousand battles,
a thousand victories. - Sun Tzu (500 B.C.)
You forgot Toto the dog.
Scarecrow. Or maybe the flying monkeys. Frustrating year. I wonder if Calvin Simpson had his heart into it this year.

One thing is certain. They weren't a transition team when they needed to be. And have you ever see a team visit the free throw line so few times?
"Change is inevitable -- except from a vending machine!"
These guys went out with a whimper. No heart.
La ola es mía.
Clearly they were the horse of many colors.
You never knew which team was going to show up.
At times Tin Man, at times Scarecrow.
... that's not food.
I would vote for no teamwork, but no heart works just as well. They just played for themselves, and it seemed very obvious at times - UWV, Texas, Nebraska (Big 12 Tourney) and UMW that they just didn't really care.
How about the Wizard? Nice and means well, but ultimately just a sham.
Sham is a strong word, but we definitely weren't what we were billed to be.

It was really close between no heart and no brains. In fact, it probably was a tie.
Much like Dorothy, they got caught in a whirlwind in Kansas.
i say no heart, they have the talent which usually means some smarts.
its just another wasted year
By the way, this is an awesome question.
When comparing them to previous Sampson teams, I'd say I noticed a greater difference in their lack of heart than in their lack of brains. I think a lot of times what looked like a lack of brains was really just a lack of speed (this team was painfully slow) but there were a lot of times I didn't see the heart that Sampson teams have had in the past.
Dumbest team ever (for the amount of talent and potential). Though they could have used some more leadership to give them a little more heart.
The munchkins.
Dorothy.
When push came to shove, they just walked and walked and walked.
I'm looking at you, Taj.

The Smartest OU team in History- Book smarts- had no court smarts - I really don't understand that very well.
The problem is that you're assuming they were one of the characters in the Wizard of Oz.
The reality is they were a compilation of the characters in Half Baked.
