Lance makes some hot potato chips. It says Texas Pete on the bag.
I'd never heard of it otherwise
not really hot but has a good flavor, the further east you go the more you see it.
it's cheaper than Louisiana Hot Sauce
Never had that.
And it's not hard to be better than Tabasco. It takes way too much tabasco to make something hot enough, so by the time the dish is apropriately spicy, it just tastes like tomato. :/ (imo)
I really like the Louisiana Hot Sauce, as you say. Also try Crushed Scotch Bonnet Pepper Sauce (product of Jamaica). Good stuff. Not cheap tho.
If you don't love it, leave it.
had some Jamaica hot sauce, and it was really hot, made me cringe like a bitch,Originally Posted by Vaevictis

If you ever see Landry's Hotsauce, proceed with caution.
i got some really really good hot sauce in new orleans..tiger something.
Whenever a boy comes you should always have something baking.
I tried some of this stuff about six years ago and it has been a mainstay in our home ever since. Goes great with red beans & rice, jambalaya, nachos, and Asian cusisine. Very flavorful and the heat sneaks up on you after a few minutes.

"Scorned Woman"
Doesn't take a lot and has great flavor. I cook with it all the time.
