i was going through the stats and it was amazing how well we distribute stats. well, except for courtney...
Congrats Coach Coale and especially Sophia Young.
I guess that although Young trailed Paris in most stats, she led in the one that counted the most: years played in the league.
Congrats to the team! The league honors actually downplay how much we dominated the league this year.
Also: note the lack of OU players with honors outside of Paris. It seems Paris had less help than anybody else in dominating the league according to the voters.
I think it's funny that a team that goes 16-0 wins one of five awards and puts two people on the first two all-conference teams.
I call rubbish.
The Bondsman should have made the team.
I remember when the KU men's team went 16-0 in the regular season, and they DEFINITELY had more honors than this. This is a puzzling trun of events.

rush was the preseason player of the year so she gets a respect nod even though she hasn't had a great year statistically. i'd argue for chelsi (especially in conference play as welch came into her own then).
personally, i'd only switch brown and rush and give chelsi HM as well

She pwns Young in pretty much every category.
It's like Lionfart winning the heisman over AD. An injustice just b/c AD and Courtney were freshmen and the older person got the 'lifetime achievement' type of award. BOLLOCKS, I SAY!
Leah was preseason All Big 12... I think Sophia Young was pretty much the consensus preseason Big 12 POY.
Chelsi Welch did get an Honorable Mention, along with Britney and Erin.
