Read it. Hand signed by the King himself.
yeah, i'm almost finished reading the book myself. pretty good read so far. i also bought "what it means to be a sooner", "tales from the sooner sidelines" and "road to glory". at least i'll have something to read during the off season...
it's the greatest book i ever read, not.
Somebody stole my signed copy.
why have you only now just read it? I had it finished almost before the ink had set from the first printing.
The Undefeated by Jim Dent is just as good..written in a different way but just as good
same here. got it signed at the mall about 15 years ago.Originally Posted by okieruss1

heh..u sayin this thread is a little late or somethin?
I bought the book myself years ago. I wrote a short sentence in the front inside cover and tried to make my wife think it was King Barry's handwriting, but made two critical mistakes; (1) I wrote lso's you could make out the signature and (2) I mispelled Switzer which she saw right away. Anyone seen Bootlegger's Boy on CD? I have seen in on cassette (with the King reading).
I wish ESPN would do a movie about The Undefeated the way the did The Junction Boys
Ive got that...nice way to pass the time when traveling on the turnpikeOriginally Posted by Taxman71
I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to do a movie on coach switzer's book, love or hate the sooners, his legacy is in my opinion, which my be biased, is the most unique and not to mention exciting.. just rreading it makes me wanna go get me a little half pint of warm whiskey lol
CD or cassette? I see where you can download it, but not to an mp3 format.Originally Posted by Octavian
I agree. It was the greatest team to ever take the field, and it's an interesting story. Who would make a good Bud?Originally Posted by Octavian
