SETTING THE STAGE: OU travels to suburban St. Louis to face Lindenwood in a two game series this weekend …Tonight’s game is also the third of four games between the two teams this season…Lindenwood traveled to Oklahoma City earlier in the season and beat Oklahoma twice by scores of 3-2 and 4-2.

OKLAHOMA NOTES: The Sooners are currently ranked 15th in the nation in the latest ACHA Coaches Division 1 ranking… In the unofficial computer poll of ACHA D1 teams, OU remains ranked 13th in the nation…OU is looking to break a two game losing streak…The Sooners are 2-4-0 all-time against Lindenwood and 1-1-0 against Lindenwood on the road…Sophomore forward Matt Pangrac continues to lead the Sooners in goals scored with 14 and in total points scored with 23…Oklahoma is the only team to have beaten Lindenwood in overtime on Lindenwood’s home ice; in that game last season, goaltender Aaron Schmeilski stopped 56 of 57 shots and Laddy Tresl ripped a wicked wrister into the Lions’ net in OT to give the Sooners a 2-1 victory .

LINDENWOOD NOTES: Lindenwood is currently ranked 6th in the nation in the latest ACHA Coaches Division 1 ranking…Lindenwood’s last games were this last weekend as they beat unranked Robert Morris College 7-1, beat No. 17 Washington & Jefferson 7-0 and lost to non-ACHA member St. Clair (ONT) College 5-3…The Lions scoring attack is led by their captain, forward Dan McNabb, who has 23 goals and 16 assists in 28 games… McNabb is followed by David Easterbrook (17-20-37), Larry Kopecky (15-17-32) and Quinn Henry (10-15-25)…In net, the Lions rely on Grahame Lippert who has a 2.61 goals against average and a .922 save percentage in 26 games this season…Kopecky is out for this weekend’s series against OU due to a broken jaw.
