What exactly happened to Chris Andersen?

I know he was kicked out of the NBA for 2 years. Can anyone elaborate for me?

Apparantly it wasn't steroids but more the mind altering kind. The union (or whatever they are called) will be filing a greivance. They were able to get O'neil and Jackson's suspensions shortened last year, so it will be interesting to see what comes out of this.

I don't think they'll get it reduced. O'neil and Jackson's suspensions were subjective but drug suspensions are pretty cut and dry.

different set of circumstances....one is for violating the drug policy, the other two were in reaction to events that got out of control during a game and were somewhat unfairly levied on those two players (although Artest's suspension was just, and I still feel the idiot in the crowd that instigated it should be locked up)
