So you didn't win Tiger's ride?
joe-say didn't choke as badly as the other guy.

No, Tiger handed himself yet another victory. He holed the not so gimmee eight foot birdie to send it into a playoff. If everyone else around him like Jose or Daly gags royally, well, that's part of the game, and sometimes not gagging just means you deserve to be champ.
Nice win after a SIX WEEK LAYOFF!!! Grand slam year?

tough long course, Eldrick plays so-so and wins.
I'm telling you, these Tiger-proofing tactics only play into his strennnnths.
It's fixed like Pro Wrastlin.
I missed it. I flipped a coin, watch the weather channel or watch golf. So Tiger won. Who would have imagined.
The resentment I see towards Tiger reminds me of all the Ohioans around Lexington, KY, who hope Tiger breaks an arm or crashes in his plane just to preserve all the records their beloved Jack Nicklaus holds which Tiger will break. I keep telling them I have always been a Nicklaus fan, but I have no doubt at the end of his career Tiger will be easily be considered the greatest golfer of all time, bar none. In fact, even now, at the maybe 1/3 point of his PGA career, he is arguably the greatest of all time. I love Jack, but Tiger is almost super human.
A lot of people say my game reminds them of Tiger's game.

Yeah, I never understood why people talked about 'Tiger-Proofing' Augusta by making it longer... ummm... isn't one of his strengths his driving distance?? Doesn't making the course longer make it better for him and worse for the shorter-distance guys?? Course designers must be A-Level Retards or something.Originally Posted by picasso

i'm a tiger fan, but even he doesnt like to win the way he did today...sorry, there's a difference between making an 8 foot birdie putt (which he missed on the first playoff hole) and missing a gimmeOriginally Posted by lexsooner
