Need some suggestions for a new putter.

Since I can't play golf for the next couple of months I was thinking about buying a new putter and at least practice my putting. I currently use an Odyssey blade but I think I need to upgrade. Any suggestions?

I split time with the original PING anser i've had since high school and a Scotty Cameron Red X i bought a year ago.

i love the Red X, but nothing looks better to me over the ball than that anser.

I'm money with both, so hey!

some of the most popular and expensive:

cameron red x - good stuff. perfect weighting.
cameron blade - throwback to the bullseye (my dad's currently playing with one)
2 ball - new model is nicer than the old
taylor made monza corza - i'm using this one now (you can change the wieghts)
YES putter - friend of mine uses it... loves it (great weighting).
I don’t know if the block on that last one was due to low trajectory or if the guys up front didn’t hold their ground well enough. I’m not convinced it matters. We have every reason to believe the ball could have gone through the uprights and the refs would have signaled first down Oregon. - D.E.

for you TD, i recommend giving up golf. try the ping doc... we give away a license plate with it.

for those of you that think it's silly, try a long putter. i don't like the belly putter. rather, i anchor the butt end in my sternum and swing my shoulders. takes all the potential bad wrist action out of the movement. also saves your back when practicing.

Get a wooden shaft 'Billy Barule' model. And keep a homemade knitted sock on it. It will put fear in your opponents.

one of our members has a putter with an uncanny likeness to the male anatomy. he pulls it out (the putter) to intimidate opponents.

I use a Cameron. I used to bounce around rom and old standard Bullseye, to my Cameron custom Mil-spec, to a Cameron Futura.

I still have the futura ifins you want to try it IB.

I made the decision early last year to stick with the milspec. and it's improved my putting dramatically.
    I taste terrific.

Go to putt-putt course. Go to an indoor one if you have to. Find putter you like. Slip into pant leg. Walk out non-chantlantly. Spend savings on booze. You'll thank me later.

Ping Anser 2 or Anser 5, stick with the beryllium copper models (stay away from the steel jobbers). Best. Putter. Ever.

Find one on EBay for $25...
