How badly does this team need De'Angelo Alexander about now? He leads Charlotte in scoring, including shooting 41.5% from beyond the arc. Here is Alexander's stat line through 14 games:

as i recall, DLo's departure from OU was not entirely basketball related.
Basketball related or not (we will never really know), we could sure use him about now! If I remember right, he was not playing much his sophmore year prior to his leaving, which surprised many.

Johnnie could shoot the 3 like nobody's business.
Heck yeah, Kelvin used to love to see Johnnie step outside and t'row the trey.
Johnnie was tough last year down the stretch. he made some plays.
DeAngelo is another in a line of talent that could not play within Kelvin's system. This system is made for Johnnie Gilbert.
DeAngelo also didn't make the grade that's a factor in why he's not here. But he didn't want to be here. Why do we care about guys that didn't want to be here?
Because at one time, he DID want to be here, but for some reason it changed.
