and to think Mack benched him in favor of the blonde haired wonder.
When all else fails, get a bigger hammer.
Yawn.
I'm actually curious to see how he does. The guy was a gamer.
... that's not food.
Rice also picked up Todd Dilbeck, the head coach of Mustang, as their offensive line coach a few days back.Originally Posted by Hook 'Em Horns

27, but whatever.
Good for him. I have always respected Major because he seemed like a tough smart quarterback not unlike Josh.
i respect major. would want him on my side.

Yeah, I read that too about Mustang's coach.
This is an interesting move for Major. I can't help but wonder if taking this job right now is really in his best interest. Big gamble, but maybe it'll work out for him. Maybe someday he could be our DKR.
Compared to what Rice was doing on offense before, I am sure a ham sandwhich could improve the play calling on that team.
ZZZZZZZZZZ, whole staff fired in 3-5 years.....
I have too much sympathy for myself to feel any for you......
Are you saying Rice will fire their whole staff in 3-5 years?Originally Posted by The Consumate Showman

Seriously, I hope all goes well for them.
Sadly, the last of the wishbone offenses will be gone now

i guess major wasn't "seeing the light" on the almighty one Greg Robinson's staff at 1-10 Syracuse.
i liked major OK, but people forget he was the starter in the 63-14 game in 2000.
The 'cuse fans should love that, they were hatin' on him pretty bad this year.
I wonder if a little bit of homesickness might have had something to do with this decision to coach at Rice. I've never been to Syracuse, NY but I'm confident that the Tex-Mex, barbeque and gumbo there just doesn't measure up to what's found along the Texas-Louisiana Gulf coast or in Austin. I don't even want to get into the winters up there!!
The big question about the program is how it's going to be supported by the university admin. alums and the city of Houston.
