OU/Bama game

We had such a good time in Norman for the football game a couple of years ago, we have decided to return for the Bball game before going to the Cotton bowl. A couple of questions...

1. I'm going with my dad, but our tickets are not together because they only had singles available. I assume the students will not be on campus due to winter break, so would we have a problem moving and sitting higher up in the student section so that we can sit together? Or is the place usually packed?

2. We will be cutting it close on time, what is the parking situation? If its difficult, can you offer any advice?

Thanks in advance. I'm looking forward to visiting your wonderful campus again. Hopefully my team can at least give you guys a competitive game.

#1 You may not be able to sit in the student section, but you will be able to sit together. (OU basketball fans only show up for 3-4 games a year)

#2 Not difficult to park. You will be able to find parking in the LNC parking lot.

#3 Have fun. Don't look for the same type of atmosphere. It is like comparing a steak dinner to eating a leftover doughnut out of the trash bin.

I would think you guys would be excited about Bball with your national ranking. West Va. is a very good team, you can't be too down on them after that loss. Both teams had better learn how to shoot from the outside. It's like both teams play with a bunch of inside guys with no one who can shoot.

You guys will probably light us up from the perimeter. It seems everyone has a career game shooting 3's against us. We have played no perimeter defense in the first half of any of our big games so far this year.

Overall, I'm pleased with the job Gottfried has done. He's had some bad breaks this year that has left him without a SG.
