Rivals is reporting he committed to the Sooners tonight. I think we're probably done at that position now.

That's great! According to scout.com, it looks like we made a late run and lured him away from Alabama.
He could even be a LB
Since Beal is a LB/DE, which position do we take another recruit in?
Why does insider list him as a DT?
SoonerinabileneOh sweet jesus. Its like watching the special olympics in high definition on here now.
my guess is that it's hard to gauge the true position for a high schooler unless he plays a 'skill position' or weighs 300 lbs.
"The mark of a great player is in his ability to come back. The great champions have all come back from defeat." - Sam Snead
Rivals has him listed with some nice measurables - 6'2" 243 4.7 forty. If he is really that quick he could become a great mike in the mold of some of the bigger guys like Urlacher.
Another guy I'd keep an eye on is Daniel Tabon out of Altus.
this guy has tweener written all over him.
Since Beal committed, Rivals has our class so far at #9 nationally. Mike Stoops got a 5-star DE to committ to Arizona and they are now at #10! Go Mike! They better give him a few more years out there, he is just now getting enough talent assembled to be able to make noise in the Pac-10.
