I thought that kid drew a body foul at the end. WV should've put it away at the FT line anyway. I know its early, but IMO Everett will be able to exploit the UT D and create passing lanes to Book and Taj. It should be fun to watch

    Re: New Rankings

At first i thought it should have been a foul at the end also..Then they showed the other camera angle and the offensive player pushed off pretty good also..Like you said though, they shoud have made their free throws and they wouldnt be in that position

    Re: New Rankings

Call could've gone either way. I understand the refs letting it go though because Aldridge's arms were straight up. Refs hate to decide a game on a questionable call.

    Re: New Rankings

Actually I saw the replay a few times later last night and changed my mind. From the overhead angle, it looked like the coal miner initiated contact and Aldridge was indeed vertical. Good early W for Barnes &co. The frontcourt matchups between OU and UT are gonna be exciting to watch

    Re: New Rankings

Like I said, the call at the end could've gone either way, but for what it's worth their F Gansey thought it was the correct call.

Replays appeared to show Aldridge leaving his feet and making contact, but no foul was called.

"The referee made the right call," Gansey said. "Texas made a great defensive play. At the end of the game, the referees don't want to determine it and kind of let us play. It was the right call not to make the call."
