The Reds are making their run
For all you non-believers, my beloved Reds have one of the best records in all of baseball since the All-Star break (27-15 for a .642 winning percentage) and have won 31 of their last 50 games.
They will overtake the Cubs soon and then slowly make their move to the top, where they will win a wild card spot on the last day of the regular season at St Louis.
I told you all of this would come to pass, in accordance with the prophecy...

Re: The Reds are making their run
Reds are only 7 1/2 back in the wild card race. Anything's still possible.
Gotta hang on this week, though. One more game at Pittsburgh, then trips to Houston and Atlanta. Good news for us in the Houston series is we won't get to face Clemens, he pitched today in LA. Oswalt pitched Saturday so we may not see him either.
If we can go at least 4-3 this upcoming week, we're still in good shape.
But if only we had taken care of business at home our last two homestands....

Re: The Reds are making their run
This thread reminds me of the time Kirk Gibson had the sqirts during a game. He had to visit the bullpen crapper and those weren't dirt stains from sliding on his uni.

Sure you two, go ahead and make fun of the Big Red Machine.
You'll be laughing out of the other side of your Ken Griffey Junior poster when we score the wild card spot.
