I just saw that Corey Patterson was sent to the minors one day last week. That sucks....I had high hopes for him. The announcers said something about him on the telecast last night but they didn't go into detail so I checked online this morning and saw he was at Triple A.
Hope he gets it together.
The Cubs also sent Ben Grieve to the minors and got rid of Jason Dubois (although that was more to get defensive outfielder Gerut).

I thought Corey Patterson was going to be great for my fantasy team this year. I guess I was a little off on that prediction. He didn't steal many bases for me, hit for a low average, and anytime the prick decided to hit a home run, it was done with no one on base. I say let him rot in AAA for a while for hurting my fantasy team

I'm with SB03 on this one. He was doing really well in April and even most of May and then he just hit a brick wall. I think he was actually sent down a little while earlier than last week. I had cut him from my fantasy team about 1 week before the Cubs cut him from their squad.
Patterson has been HORRIBLE this season for the Cubs; at one point, he had swung at a higher percentage of first pitches than anyone in the majors.
