No mention over here? Still, I doubt he ever sees the campus but still pretty good pub landing the #2 rated player in the country over the past two national champs.

hornfans.com has a basketball board, Scholz.
Wow. I see two threads about KU on this board, as well as numerous ones about the NBA (even Baylor). Thought we discussed each other's teams here. Sorry.
Aww darn it. Saxet is gonna lose out on Durant and LosuR is gonna lose out on Greene.
I'm heartbroken.
Atheist.
Haven't you learned your lesson in Recruit smack through your football team the last 5 years.Originally Posted by Herr Scholz

Gotcha. With the NBA about to pass the 19 year old draft age minimum, hopefully we'll get both CJ Miles and Durant for at least one year in Austin.Originally Posted by King Crimson

Durant is a huge pickup. Dont know how you can play at 6'9" 180 though. Bookout would break him in half. If he puts on some weight he could be the best player coming out of high school.
He's not a center. He's a swingman, inside/outside guy. Shoots the 3 really well.Originally Posted by Johnny5

FWIW, Gregg Doyel at http://cbs.sportsline.com seems to think the new NBA entry rule will keep Durant at UT for one year at least.

I don't know. If he can get drafted in the 1st round, that's a guaranteed contract for 3 years. Next year, the guarantee goes down to 2 years. Tough to turn down millions of dollars. As much as I want him at UT, I'd probably advise him to go if he were my son. Plus, all indications are that the Miami Heat is going to draft him. Not a bad spot to be for a 6'6" shooting guard.Originally Posted by eric3232

I also heard that North Carolina is still putting the full court press on Durant to go there. Has he signed a LOI?
Beware the man who would rule you for your own good. He will never cease. He will regulate every aspect of your life, destroy your liberty and enslave you, and sleep well convinced that he has made the world a better place.
The early signing period's not until the Fall sometime.Originally Posted by FaninAma
