Have you tried Safari? I'm checking my powerbook now.
Safari is what I usually use....it just opens up in a new window and the pops over to a temp directory...and nothing comes up...
Since it's a .wmv, you have to have Windows Media Player installed (thay make it for OS X too). I do and it plays fine when I ctrl-click on the link and save it to my desktop.

Yeah Macs are weird about opening in new windows. I almost always save the files and then view them.
