    I didn't even know he was sick. Died of Cancer after an 18 month battle. RIP Ziggy.

    Others who want to keep a secret should look into what he did...
    Didn't really get too much into his music but he sure influenced
    a lot of artists......

    Saw him in 1987 in San Jose at San Jose State's football stadium...or, what passed for a football stadium back then. Glass Spider tour. Peter Frampton on guitar. One of the dancer gals in that show later became an actress and starred as the wife character in that George Lopez TV show that used to be on TV.

    Good show. Our little high school garage band used to play Suffragette City and Space Oddity back in the day.

    I've been disappointed that some of the obituaries omit the fact that he gave Stevie Ray Vaughan his first big shot on his Let's Dance album. Hard to imagine Let's Dance and China Girl without Stevie's guitar. Also, the dipping, scratching opening riff to Modern Love. Pure Stevie greatness.
