They took KU too lightly and it almost cost them, believe they will be focused for the Sooners no matter who takes the field for the frogs.
Now this is what opposing fan bases are SUPPOSED to say about OU:
"We do not stand a chance against Oklahoma unless Boykin, Doctson, Porter, Slanina, Big V, Naff, and Foltz are all able to go at 100%."
I know we don't play their fan base, but I enjoyed reading that.
Ukraine: Not Our Fight.
More epicycles!
Kansas is improving, or NO ONE cares about them and think they can beat them with one hand behind their back. I don't think Boykin is that badly injured, TCU just wanted him to have a good rest for this week-end.
If a dark-horse spot to land both Mayfield a Heisman and OU in the playoff isn't enough motivation to kick the crap out of the next two opponents, I don't know what is. If they can't get up to the top of their game mentally for both TCU and OSU, who at *worst* will be 1-loss teams, then they won't deserve the playoff or a Heisman. I expect they don't have any clue about how TCU played last week, or who's hurt. These games may prove pivotal for OU as a program over the next several years--Heisman notoriety and a spot in the playoff will have us moving right back into the elite. Otherwise, well, we're bumping against the glass ceiling we've had for a while.
Do we have Trevone Boykin right where we want him too?We got OU right where we want them
Don't worry Trevvy boy. I'm sure you'll be nice and healed up in time to face our daunting d-line.
That shade doesn't look good on Trevone's toes.
I read through that thread and they sound just like Texas' fans just before we played them. And we know how that turned out. Hope our guys stay mentally focused.
