A lot of innocent people die in every war.
I'm not saying ACA will be the worst thing since slavery. It's an extreme statement, but if you're saying that Walmart is the worst non-war thing to happen to America since slavery, then you're being even sillier, and have no room to criticize him.
I'm not really sure what the worst thing to happen to America is since slavery, which is why I threw the question out there. Right now I'm sitting on antibiotic resistance, but that's not my final answer.
Actually...probably the legalization of abortion. I know it's dropped crime in America, but we're killing millions of babies.
Adapt or die----Those business did not adapt-----------Do you feel sorry for the companies that once made typewriters? or the best maker of slide rules?
"Lives" meant their "way of life". Thought that was pretty clear. That's why it was in "quotations". Livelihood would have been better stated. I'm from a one stoplight town in eastern oklahoma and I saw it.
Slavery worse than all those other things. All those other things worse than obamacare. How hard is that?

Somewhere between 26,000 and 45,000 people died each year due to not having access to health insurance. Extending them insurance is much worse than slavery? Right.
fergodssakes!
Put a lid on it! Kiss it goodbye. We gave it away, and apparently thought it made sense to do so.
Everything progressives do is aimed at weakening democracy, capitalism and the social and cultural institutions that support those things...... They are about subjugating people and being a ruling class.
