I am doing my part too, Vet! I drive a Ford Fusion Energii. It is a plug in hybrid and I average about 119 mpg around town. When I have to travel longer distances it dips to 75 mpg.
I do burn tires in my backyard for recreation though.
I set the cruise on my f250at 65on the freeway...ya know, to save gas

After I finally got it charged up it showed to have 93 miles total on it It has 9 115ah 12 volt battery's
The ist night i drove it just around here close then let my Grandsons have at it. yesterday I drove it to back bout a 15 mile round trip er so. then Boys went fishing in it
Plugged it back in last night 30 mile an hour is top speed lol

where did you get it? who made it?
Its a "Zap" not sure where it was made. an apartment complex bot 2 of em in 09 and then parked em for no apparent reason. I was afraid i was going to have to buy new batterys but once I got these to take a charge they seem to be doing fine. it only had 93 miles on it when i got the dash and every thing to work

I try to ride my bike instead of driving whenever I can. Unfortunately, that does cause me to eat more and expel more greenhouse gases.
