Wisconsin is the second state to make internal rules regarding discussion of climate change. http://host.madison.com/news/local/e...d57688747.html

The second state to tell their employees to not say the words "beetlejuice"...I mean climate change.

I'm not an Al Gore. I think the majority of "climate change" is natural and is attributed to fluctuations in the sun. I think the earth is like the human body and it can repair itself. I worry that we're making the earth sick like a diabetic to the point that it may not be able to repair itself. I also think that sometimes the little changes that we see are the precurser to larger changes that are unseen.

I think what is true is that we don't know. Scientists who study this are alarmed. At least the ones that don't work for the energy industry. Remember, there were physicians working for tobacco companies 40 years ago telling us that there was no link to cigarettes and cancer. It's more of the same now.

Please don't show me a cold snap as some indicator. My reading on the topic indicates that, while the average temps will increase, so will the variances.

Oklahoma, Texas and the rest of the knuckleheaded red states can't be far behind. If we put our heads in the sand it will all get better. All that said, it's comforting to know that we've got a solid Oklahoma Senator leading the charge in the Senate. :|
