With all my travel, this hits home hard. Being locked up in a metal tube for hours, one expects sanity, professionalism and competency. The American crew cabin and cockpit policies seem pretty good now.
Odd that the French prosecutor is being so open about their findings so quickly, I doubt that the NTSB would be as open in the same time frame with the same information.
Tomorrow, 26 hours back to the U.S. from Korea.
Prayers to all the families affected and to the co-pilots family. They will have an especially tough time. True cowardice on the co-pilots part, unless he had other intents that have not been mentioned yet.
