Being 30 miles from the Cuse I can tell you that the fallout from this leads me to believe Jay Bilas is the Jim Jones of college basketball. Being a Sooner fan I have no horse in the race even though I think the punishment is a bit harsh. That being said I'm anti-Bilas in the whole displacement of blame due to vile hatred of the NCAA. The NCAA has flaws, college sports in major sports are part of a flawed system, but you got caught cheating and you have to pay a price. Since cheating in NCAA basketball and football seems pervasive throughout the country the NCAA has to ramp up the sanctions to discourage it.
