Joe Mixon video update -- no public release

    Happy Friday

A Cleveland County district court judge dismissed the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters’ lawsuit which focused on the release of a surveillance video involving Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon.

Called it months back... Not surprised.
Everything progressives do is aimed at weakening democracy, capitalism and the social and cultural institutions that support those things...... They are about subjugating people and being a ruling class.

I really hope this is the end of that. Although, if there is a civil suit brought up later, I'm not sure what the procedure would be.

I do so love watching journo's getting biotch slapped down by judges when they stand, hands over hearts, declaiming for the public's 'right to know', and you know are just whoring after some fine dirt to sell their crappy little rags.

I think it's good that the public doesn't view it...he's been punished,
I assume he's doing/done his community service and is working to
get back to football. Wonder if the lady has done any more face slapping?

I do believe she has a three year statute of limitations on this...and year one has already about run. I'm not sure she could go after future earnings and Joe most likely won't be in the neffle in the next 2 years.

Be more interesting to see how her drug dealing career has worked out.

For Joe's sake and the angst of Sooner fans everywhere, I hope the video is never released, but it might be a stretch to call Mia a lady...

    Good.

Not that she's a stand-up person, but you never know. If you are correct (and I have no reason to doubt you), the video will probably never see the light of day.

It wasn't officially announced, but Joe is back on the team (even showing up on the roster), so he must have done what was needed to get back in the good graces of Stoops and the University.

I really believe we'll never hear/see another negative off-field story involving Mixon. He's served his penalty, paid his price and deserves a second chance. I have a feeling the fans that aren't "ready" to accept him will change their tunes very quickly once he's start to produce on the field.

I think the number of fans that didn't want Mixon back can be counted on the fingers of one hand (or even a foot). However, the number of fans that accept that Molitor was also a young, foolish person and not the debil would fill the stadium. I think they were both young knuckleheads that paid the appropriate penalty and hope they leave this mess in their rear view mirrors.
