So much for being conference favorites. That didn't last long.

They should have just forfeited the game and saved the travel expenses.
If West Virginia ever runs into an officiating crew that actually calls fouls on them, they might be in trouble.
OU seems to be called for breathing on them.
86-65 and it wasn't even as close that score indicates. One of the worst displays of basketball I have seen in a long time. 22 Turnovers. Why does Woodard even bother to suit up? He and Booker are in full regression mode.
At least we didn't lose to KSU at home again.
Perhaps Joe C. should schedule the whorns later in the season for men's sports. We beat them in both FB and BB and then just go all to hell. Oh well, there's always wraslin, gymnastics and baseball.
I really miss Billy Ball, and even what K.Sampson put on the court. Glad C Simpson left though before the (*&^ hit the fan.
Oh my Gawd! I'm gonna go pick a fight. Fiar Leon Kroger!!
Our bench was outscored 55-8. C'mon Leon, youre better than that! Right?
That was hard to watch.
It reminded me of the NCAA tourney game against Louisville when they pressed us all game.
Baby baj has been sick so I was only half-watching when we were tuned in. All these OU losses (football and basketball both) are depleting my huge stores of vCash.
As such, the next event (OU vs OSU in Norman) will vPay much if you are brave enough and Sooner fan enough...
I was planning on watching...after I worked out. Got to GF about 6:30...down 8-9 then. Kept track of stats...ALMOST turned it on when we got within 3, 32-35. Then the coonskins went on a 9-0 run before half. Figured it was over....I hate to say it but we just are not a comeback team.
honestly, looking I don't see us finishing much above .500 if that.
ku - 0-2
ut - 1-1
ksu - 0-2
bu - 1-1
tt - 2-0
osu - 1-1
isu - 1-1 (maybe)
wv - 1-1 (maybe)
tcu - 2-0
guess that's 9-9

How do you know if you get there, if you don't know where you are going?..oh and I had 1,713 post on the "other board"..I hate being a rookie again!
I haven't commented because quite frankly I didn't have anything to say after that shi%as$ performance. That was awful to say the least.
I am willing to use the mulligan on that one. Not an easy place to play, and we were not ready TO play.
Having said that, we can get back on track. Beat stoolwater this weekend, who for some odd reason is ranked #24 in AP. hey it counts..lol
And if 4 other games go this way, this conference will be tight. BU over ISU (just happened), Saturday, KSU knocks of BU, TX takes care of WV, ISU over KU, all of these are home winners, that will really pull everybody back together, and probably keep 6-7 teams ranked.
Big picture.
But hey we have got to start making strides here or it won't matter.

The KSU loss at home was a tougher one to swallow though we certainly were not very competitive in this one. A little bummed because I think KU is losing at least 4, maybe 5 games and the conference title was/is within reach. I have a feeling though that pretty much everyone in the league is going to have a game or 2 where they get pretty much beat down and that was our night to get it. It is a tough league this year. I still like this team.
"My landmass erupts with kittens."
I thought early as well...that ku would drop 4/5 games....I'm thinking more like 2/3..just cause the ones who I thought would beat them are looking like dog dodo. ut, ou, bu....but wv has played well...so who knows.
I still UGH think it's ku who wins it. I thought our bench was playing well early in the season, even against bu and horns....but they really dropped the ball the last 2 games. You CANNOT have only 5 guys to play and win in this league.
