Hope he is right. But with no SEC! SEC! team in the contest, I can relax and enjoy the game without any angst over the outcome.
Dang it. Now ESPN is reporting that the Ducks lost another WR, Carrington, to a failed MJ test. The Ducks keep amazing me at how they have overcome injuries, but it has to catch up with them sometime. They lost their most dangerous WR on the opening kick-off of the Rose Bowl and now they lose the next guy up. They had already lost an NFL caliber CB during the Rose bowl practice period and they lost a very good TE at the end of the regular season. Their O-line injuries this year are well documented. I'm not sure if I'm more impressed that they are able to overcome these loses or more disappointed that OUr team folds like a cheap suit at the first injury. Sigh.
But I'm going to have to pick tOSU now.
I'm so down about the way the season went that I've pretty much lost all interest in the whole playoff thing.
