REPORT: Jozsef Szendrei fired for funneling booster money to players

While the university did not identify the staff member, sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to the Tulsa World that Jozsef Szendrei, the Sooners’ strength and conditioning coach since 2009, had been dismissed. Sources said he was involved in the distribution of cash – one source called it “spending money” – from a booster to players while OU played at the Battle 4 Atlantis in the Bahamas Thanksgiving week.

It sounds like there won't be suspensions or players ineligible and that it wasn't a significant amount of money.

Crossed my mind too, but I doubt it, since he played vs Mizzou and Tulsa - terribly btw, wasn't surprised to hear he was hurt. And was on the bench vs Weber.
