Well, if today's Miami Beach Bowl was their audition, they'd be perfect. Tons of offense, no defense, and one helluva brawl on the field after the game.

There's an instant rivalry and they could play at a neutral site on a Thursday night, a sure moneymaker.
BYU will probably have a few less players for next season. I do think some of them violated the school Code of Conduct out there.
When did Justin change his name to Jim Fuente? The highlight they showed on the MNF halftime had the broadcast graphic with that on there.
Guess that post game BBQ discussion took a bad turn.
I'd rather have Cincy and BYU
I am sure Texas Tech would love to play Cincinnati, since that is where their last coach went.
I'd love to never have BYU in any conference OU is affiliated with, talk about a hypocritical bunch.
Please no. There are no quality teams to add. The Big 12 got left out in the cold. They are the odd man out and the better members will eventually be taken in by another conference.....or there will be a confernece:conference merger.
Beware the man who would rule you for your own good. He will never cease. He will regulate every aspect of your life, destroy your liberty and enslave you, and sleep well convinced that he has made the world a better place.
I guess they didn't marry enough women to keep them on the team....

Cinci didn't exactly help their chances today.
That's a minor issue, that could be worked around or completely eliminated with a football only relationship. The reason is they want total control of the conference (very much like Texas). They were one of the reasons that the Mountain West collapsed. The MWC is still around, but TCU and Utah both wanted out (and ended their membership) because of BYU's political involvement within the conference.
I have a client that used to work for the MWC, and he's told me some pretty crazy things that went down when BYU was involved.
BYU could swing their sticks that way in the WAC or MWC. They wouldn't be able to in the Big XII. However, that is interesting info and I bet TCU would not be happy if they had to fight off BYU again AND deal with the constant Texas/OU powerplaying simultaneously.
