Buffalo Bills: Doug Marrone opted out of his contract on Dec. 31

San Francisco 49ers: Jim Harbaugh hired by Michigan on Dec. 30

Chicago Bears: HC Marc Trestman and GM Phil Emery fired Dec. 29

Atlanta Falcons: HC Mike Smith fired Dec. 29.

New York Jets: HC Rex Ryan and GM John Idzik fired Dec. 29

Oakland Raiders: Still have an interim head coach in Tony Sparano, but NFL.com reports he'll likely be replaced.

I'm guessing Michigan is trying to figure out how to avoid paying out what it will have to if it ends Hoke's contract and/or their preferred candidate is playing hard-to-get.

Can't say I blame Tulsa, but Blankenship is a good guy. Sorry it didn't work out.

I wonder if OU can't bring him in as something, assuming we part ways with Heupel and/or Norvell.
