    Youngstown Defense

Mike & Bob give up 30 to TT with DBs knocking each other over.

Bo lets the Wisconsin RB set an NCAA record.

Mark has already let a horrid Tenn offense hang half a hundred and they are still going.

Something in college football has changed that these guys are not adjusting to. Really showing that they have no clue how to. Has the game passed them by?

You know the torches are out when the coach gets blamed for other teams' performances (after a win).

Just stating the facts. Football changes and some people are too stubborn to let go of long held philosophy. Win aside, the defensive performance was horrid again this week.

Still ridiculous to group how OU is playing with NU and UK. Pelini has never been a good coach and Mark Stoops is still unproven.

Yea, no connection between any of these coaches. I'm sure their thoughts on talent evaluation, game planning and defensive strategy and schemes are completely different. It's just a coincidence that they are all getting the same type of results.

Sorry for such a "ridiculous" thought.

Haven't paid any attention to Mark and Bo, but the view of OU's overall setup is, yes, it's stale and starts with the coaches and schemes. I'd say having passed them by is the most likely answer.

Coincidence or not, it's still totally irrelevant. Bob Stoops possesses free will.

Has anyone heard why we are trying to run more zone this year? That was one thing I loved about the man to man, I didn't have to see safeties constantly missing their keys.

Clearly, he hired Bo once and Mike twice. It would be "ridiculous" to suggest he might think the way they do which could lead to similar results.

So what? All that matter's is results and Bob is accountable. He could be a direct disciple of Bud, Barry, Saban and Jesus H. Christ and that wouldn't give him a pass. He's still responsible for how the program is doing now.

This is true, he is responsible for how the program is doing now. ... The program right now is heading downward toward/is in mediocrity. Horrible defense and is averaging 3 losses per season the last 10 seasons, including this one.
