This is why Heupel is never going to make a good OC. Instead of calling plays that cater to our strengths, he is trying to take what the defense gives us. They are daring us to throw routes that Knight just can't throw (the slant etc) or to players that are iffy (Neal). As an OC, you assume that since its there its easy yards. The reality is that Knight couldn't hit 40% of his passes on the slant vs AIR, much less in a game type situations which is why we are about 1 for 6 on those throws.
I am not so confident that we will score 24 points tonight.
Heads are just not in the game.
