This #11 for WVU looks pretty legit at WR. Sanchez is going to have his hands full.

2nd and 1 from the Bama 30. WVU needs to punch this one in. Start of the 4th.
Too many drops....
These refs are trying their hardest to keep Alabama's lead. Jeez!
Definitely SEC style officiating. On that corner route the Bama player was grabbing at the receivers arms the whole way, that would've had about 14 flags thrown on it in the NFL.
Hi guys!
So which team was impressive and which wasn't?
"This whole world is 3 drinks behind..."
Well, given that it's the mighty Bama, I'd say they were somewhat less than impressive.
But the score was a bit deceptive-- Bama probably should have won by a bit more, but only a bit. Their upside as the season progresses will probably be greater-- I expect they'll sort a few things out and look much, much better (especially special teams coverage . . . although Bama's FG kicker seems to have gotten really good. If Auburn's planning on relying on them missing easy field goals [or returning a missed long FG] to pull off another upset, they better come up with a contingency plan).
On the other hand, if WVU had executed just a little better (that high snap and the ensuing 19-yard loss when they were on the doorstep late in the game kind of summed up their performance), they might have pulled off the upset. That's going to be a tough W for OU to get if WVU get better and we don't execute.
The enduring image of Oklahoma was that ridiculous double–middle finger of a game-icing kick. It was probably an accident, which somehow made it more, not less, insulting. It was as though Stoops had partied so hard on the corpse of the SEC that he woke up with an unplanned tattoo.
