Bravo to Coach Strong for laying down the law. If these acts are found to be true, it will be puzzling as to who the "Texsa" Folks will have out on the field this season.

Let's not give the Stronghorn too much credit --- can you think of any college football coach that doesn't kick out players after first getting hired at a new program?

Mike Gundy did it in 2005. Urban Meyer did it at Ohio State in 2012 and Will Muschamp did it at Florida in 2011. It happens in every conference with every coach. Hell, Stoops probably did that back in 1999 here, didn't he?

I don't remember him doing that a lot when he showed up. But I don't think he needed to because several players rage-quit - I guess because they were John Blake's "kee-ids".

"I think we can find someone to catch 8 balls for us" Stoops said of departing Ahmed Kabba.

Yes, I can think of coaches upon being named as Head Coach, did not boot out players. Just was basking in the Longhorn's plight until I read about some minor mess for Mixon.. geez
