Love the history shown on this thread. And, love the email I got from OU this morning. Season tickets were mailed August 1!!!! My first year of season tickets.
Dang, I wish he had stayed for the '07 season and I have a sneaky feeling he does too. Had he stayed as healthy as he did his rookie year in the NFL, he would have swept the Heisman votes. All hail AD !
Here's another #28
Travis Lewis & Darnell Walker were another couple of none too shabby 28's.
Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb.
Since I couldn't get in yesterday I'm going to post for 8-3-14
I wonder who that guy is that Joe is hurdling? That's such a classic photo, the guy getting hurdled should get some cred.
Yes he should, he will always be the guy grabbing nothing but air.
GREAT THREAD, LOVE IT EVERY YEAR!!!!!!!
If that game was in '74 or '75, I was in the stadium. Joe hurdled guys more than once, so I got to see a few. When he got the ball, whether on offense or punt return, everyone in the stands stood up and sort of gasped. The guy was the definition of electric.
Allen Patrick too. I know we all remember him as one heck of a back, but I also happened to see him as a safety when he was @ Indy & unless something changes, I'll go to my grave saying that he was the closest thing I've seen to TRRW since Roy roamed Owen Field. I'd have loved to have seen what he could've done there had he arrived early.
Oh & note to Dave Cutaia: HE RECOVERED THE FREAKIN' BALL!!!!

And this guy:
Early nominees for 21 (pickings are pretty slim on this one unless I'm missing someone) :
1. Guuuuuuute
2. Brian Hall (of '84 goal line stand in Lincoln fame)
I'd bet we can add Mr. Ford to this one before too long too.
