College basketball meltdowns 2013

Due to the extreme popularity of the college football meltdowns, I have decided that perhaps I can get some SF.com'ers to finally give up football for the offseason if I post smut from opposing fan message boards after their teams embarrass themselves a lot.

And, I sat through part of Baylor-Tech last night and it was OHHHHH SOOOOO BAAAAAD. So, here goes:

40 minutes of hell pretty much describes a TT fan's experience watching these games.

..don't know what you guys were expecting with a green as a gourd team that isn't any more experienced that what we put on the floor during last year's 1-17 conference fiasco.

Worst Sports year of my lifetime

53 points, at home, in an overtime game, against a .500 team. $#@!ing awesome.

Note: It really was bad. NP and I tuned in with about 10 mins to go and WVU had only 30-something points... in a nutshell, less than a point a minute... and whorn still managed to lose.

It Could Be Worse
...we could be the Georgia Bulldogs who cannot ever seem to win no matter who they hire. Or even worse, the Arkansas Razorbacks who allowed their fans/boosters pressure them into overpaying for Mike Anderson, who could only go .500 in conference with one of the most talented teams in the country at Missouri the year before last, and who will never win "consistently" enough to justify his salary. I do not believe he will get them back to their glory days in the 80's and 90's, but how will Arkansas' administration ever be able to make a change with him, if needed, given his history with the school and the apparent favor he has with the money and fans there? I have seen grade school teams play better fundamentals than the Razorbacks. No blocking out for rebounds unlike anything I have ever seen. No defense from their guards. Stupid fouls. Guys standing around on offense. No real motion or apparent offensive scheme. Seem to only rely on turnovers. They appear to be Bruce Pearl without any of the coaching or fundamentals.
