8timechamps: The thought crossed my mind too. But, I'm too lazy to go back and reference every play from all the games. So, I'm just going to say "I agree", and if you're wrong, then let me be the first to call you a moron.

Refs did a good job tonight.
I didn't like the interception call, but I don't remember having a big complaint about any other call. That's a rarity for me when we lose.
It was obvious the interception was an interception. I have more trouble with that supposed holding call that took away our first TD.

Everybody was celebrating the touchdown, so we really didn't see that one. I'll give you that one.
Did anybody else think we might have gotten away with one or two defensive pass interferences? In one of those last drives it looked like we got in a little early. Might've just been perfectly timed, though.
The holding call was ticky-tack if it was the one they circled - but I've certainly seen those called. The sad thing was that Bell was 3-4 yards outside the defense already striding into the endzone. That player would not have laid a finger on Bell if he had been unblocked.
The holding play looked so suspect because they called it so late.
What happened on the interception? Did the OU receiver just bobble it or was he being held?

Really? Have they found the flag, or the official that called the infraction on the phantom hold, erasing OUr TD? How about, exactly who and where the infraction was?
The INT would stand? Amazing. I always thought, when the ball hits forearm, ground, thigh, hands... its down. Maybe that's just me.
Sure, give it up to ND for playing "composed", but we got jobbed by the refs. No other way to spin it. I hold honesty as a pretty high quality. Anyone that denies that horse@#$%... well. Draw you own conclusions.
I would have like to have heard an explanation of the two illegal formation penalties on punts.
I doubt it was something much different than we'd been doing all season.
5-0
BOY HOWDY !!!!
We had 5 in the backfield twice. That's illegal formation.
Replay shows it was a foot of a player that was suppose to be on the line. They were ppetty and did not give OU any advantages.
Overall thegame was fun, outcome sucked. And I'm really not all that pissed about it. Would have liked some different things happen of course. But it doesn't sting.
Apparently the Big East is still pissed that we took WVU and TCU from them and helped turn their league into the current version of Conference USA.
The top of the ball touched the ground and was still bouncing around in his hands. Not an interception.

Holding call was fine, just sucks that they called it on that play. ND was doing that much holding on almost every play. Did they ever get called for it? I don't remember any, in fact, did they have any penalties?
The only penalty ND had was when they rolled our center before the snap. The ref's couldn't not call that one. Other than that they got away with a lot and got every break ref-wise.
