Let's take a break from the political banter a bit for a few important reminders:
Friday, Oct. 12 (the day before OU-Texas) is your deadline to register in the state of Oklahoma. You can download a registration application from the Oklahoma Election Board here.
If you are not sure if you are registered to vote, or have other questions in regards to voter registration, your FAQ page is here.
Oct. 31 is the last day to request an absentee ballot.
Regardless of the status of any ACLU lawsuit, you currently need identification to vote. More information on this is here. However, if you don't have photo ID, you can use the voter ID card that they mail you when you register to vote.
Nov. 2,3, and 5 is in-person absentee voting at your county election board. Info on the county election boards is here.
Nov. 6 is the general election. Polls will be open statewide 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
