2012/13 men's team could look a lot different

The Sooners picked up their fifth commitment last week (6'4" SG Isaiah Cousins, Mount Vernon, NY) which could lead to some changes in the starting five next season. With the addition of recruit Buddy Hield (ESPNU 4-star SG from Bel Aire, KS), who could definitely come in and start as a freshman, and Wyoming transfer Amath M'Baye (PF) who is expected to see plenty of playing time, the Sooners' starting five could look a lot different next season.

I think the addition of 3 guards in this class, and an experienced (and competitive) PF, things are looking better.

Lon Krueger on Wyoming transfer Amath M'Baye:

“He clearly is the most competitive [player on the roster]. “And that will change a lot of the other guys. Amath is very naturally a leader, this year we had guys, [Romero Osby] who really worked at it, but that’s not his natural personality. For Amath it is. That’s good for the other guys, it’s one less thing they have to worry about and Amath wants that.”

Sounds good to me. Lon bringing in "his" players.
