HOLY **** **** it's HOT! Some Catholics Saw This Coming

As the Demoncratic Party began chipping away at our moral foundation many years back (thanks to the Rockafellers at Notre Dame), many saw what was coming down the road.
"The slippery slope doesn't exist", YOU say?

Re: Some Catholic Saw This Coming

I saw as much as I needed to see in the first 20 seconds of that.

    Nationalization of banks - false

Takeover of the auto industry - Mostly false. The government has been aggressive in selling its shares of GM. The plan from the very beginning was to get out of the ownership business as fast as possible. The only sticking point is how low the government will sell.

Also, how do you forget that TARP 1 was under Bush/Paulson?

I think you know all of this. You know why the government did what it did even if you don't agree with it. You know darn well that (other than health care) Obama doesn't want the government to take over private industry and only did it out of necessity.

If you want to argue whether it was really necessary then we can have a real debate. If you stick to the line that this was some socialism plan long in the making (lucky he had that financial crisis then wasn't it?) then there's nothing to debate.

Anyway, I don't know what point you were trying to make and I have no interest in hearing any more spin from the idiot in that video.

Yeah, like Catholic Church has the moral high ground on any issue. At its very core the Catholic Church is one of the most corrupt institutions on the planet.

Come on Diver! You are merely diverting attention - an Aliskyian tactic.
What are the abuse statistics with teachers? What are teachers and administrators doing about it?

Obama is definately not on any kind of moral ground....not even low ground.

Well apparently you are not following anything that is going on in the Vatican these days.

Oh and Cruiser it is not the abuse but the cover up and moving of the priest that is the issue. All of this was done under the advice of the current pope.

I believe its somewhere around 600 priests/molesters that are currently unaccounted for or hidden by the church. 200 of them are in California. I'll take Obama's morals over them right now.
It takes one to know one, and I know you don't know a damn thing.

    No wash here!
(outside of the fact that Profit & Diver have always had this anti-Catholic fetish....)
Merely look up the actual statistics! FACTS!

Otherwise, it just more liberals like Obama attacking the Catholic Church.
(The Church that OBama identifies as the biggest obstacle to his agenda.)

What are the perpetrator statistics on fathers, brothers, neighbors, etc.?
The most commonly reported perpetrators are fathers and stepfathers. Brothers, sisters, mothers, baby-sitters, and uncles, are also among the most common abusers. Who abuses is an important piece in the question, "why do people abuse?" We don’t necessarily know why, but we do know most abusers were abused themselves. With incest perpetration being a family based sexual abuse, it can repeat itself from family member to family member, generation before generation, and those thereafter. But despite this, we know from statistics that overwhelmingly, most children who have been abused, don’t go on to abuse others.

•They also believe approximately 1 in 10 men have molested children, with only a 3% chance of being caught for their crimes. (That’s why you should identify registered offenders in your area…..).

•Predators are male and female, adults of all ages, all classes, all races, all vocations.
•Male offenders who abused girls had an average of 52 victims each
•Men who molested boys had an astonishing average of 150 victims each -- what an eye-opening statistic!
•Only 3% of these crimes had ever been detected.
•49% of offenders of victims under age 6 were family members
•42% of offenders of victims ages 7-11 were family members
•24% of offenders of victims ages 12 - 17 were family members
•Most common age to be victim – brink of puberty, pre-teen because are curious or ignorant. (So important o supervise and talk honestly openly about sexuality so child molesters don’t teach our kids for us!•Peak time for assaults on children: after school, 3 p.m. Also at meal times (morning, noon, dinnertime) in a residence of victim, offender or other home. 2. Most Catholic women use contraception. And by most, I mean almost all of them.

I would say 10 years of Catholic school and being raised in a strict Irish Catholic home gives me some leeway on criticizing a church that has lost its way.

Apparently their are a few more issues like money laundering.

The church needs one big enema to get rid of all the out touch clergy that currently control the church. A bunch of them need to be in jail starting with the current pope. What he did was a hundred times worse than what those men did at Penn State in covering up the Sandusky scandal.....and they are going to jail. The Pope covered up dozens of cases.
