    THE BIG CHALLENGE NOW

Is to keep this team from coming completely apart. K-State, Baylor, OSU, these teams will light us up if the defense that showed up last night makes another showing.

    Re: THE BIG CHALLENGE NOW

I don't think KState will because they don't really spread the ball around. The other teams you mentioned is another story if that same defense through 3 quarters showed up.

Texas A & M also. I expect us to lose at least 2 more games this yr. Good news is we should be better next yr. Landry should be back...

Find a way to replace Patton with Mangino. Our O-line can pass block, but cannot run block at all.

Never happen, but would be the way to get a decent O-line.

I think Kansas State will be a dog fight. Time will tell though. Ask me this time next week.

All K-State, Baylor, pukes and ATM have to do to throttle us is run crossing patterns over the middle.
We haven't covered those since BV has been our coordinator.

When I read this post I imagine a line of all Manginos, and it would be UNSTOPPABLE.

I guess we will see what these kids are made of. I look for them to bounce back strong. I hope I'm right.

    Re: THE BIG CHALLENGE NOW

our receivers needs to start catching the ball, our Oline needs to get healthy, landry seems to have something off on his mechanics maybe. our D just needs to get healthy, walker and wort are much needed players in the middle, we looked like a girls team trying to stop their screens and draws. if we can get healthy and stay that way we can win out, if not we will lose two more

Won't happen b/c Bob refuses to get rid of assistant coaches.

I agree this is a big challenge. There is no way the players aren't stunned emotionally knowing their top goal for the season has become a long shot at best. Bob and co. must convince the players that winning the conference is a huge deal and worth all the sacrifice.

The KSU game will define our season. It will definitely define this teams character.
