I just dropped a link... looks like the insurance policy time period might have lapsed by now, but might be worth checking into anyway.

Lol, that sounds like a stupid way of searching for a ring....I wonder if that advice has ever helped anyone.Other helpful tips:
If you have lost or found a class ring and would like to search for it, go to Google.com and type in "lost class ring" "found class ring" or "class ring found" or "class ring lost" into the search box. Numerous websites are available to help you.
What a ghey-arse ring style. I like my Herff Jones with the red garnet and inlaid interlocking OU...
Everything progressives do is aimed at weakening democracy, capitalism and the social and cultural institutions that support those things...... They are about subjugating people and being a ruling class.
It depends on the declared value of the jewelry, over a certain amount you have to have a rider. When our house was broken into last summer they took a few of my watches (a couple of $200 Seiko's, a Nike OU watch and a rubber strap TAG-Heuer) and all of my wife's earrings which were all the type from a place like Claire's and not a real jewelry store. Our total declared value for the items was lower than that threshold on our policy so it wasn't kicked out of the claim.
Good luck with the metal detector Dean.
I hooked up with Sir Xing yesterday and got the metal detector. Fixin' to head out here in a little bit and give it a shot.
Good luck.
