As far as our Conf schedule. well, we knew it would get tougher now facing the likes of KU, KSU, & MU twice now. I doubt we will be very good anyways, so I'm not expecting much from this season.
8-4 Non-conf
5-13 Big12
13-17 going into Big12 Tourney.
What say you all?

The SS.com release is cute -- telling us which conference teams we're playing at home and on the road. Durrrr... all of the them! at least they give the dates and tv info too.
I'm much more enthused about this season than last season. Last offseason was like... wtf. How in the hell are we gonna rebound from what was supposed to be a great year with great talent now that they're all bailing and the NCAA's breathing down our backs again?
I hope our boys are looking for to a fresh start and November under the Lonster Monster.
And as for Felton J. the Third.... wish you the best. It wasn't meant to be here.
We will make the ncaa tourney!! book it
Non-conf 10-2
Conf 7-11
Total 17-13
Always thought it was a waste that we don't play any non-con road games in Texas. You'd think we would play TCU or SMU every year. They both stink and metroplex kids would get a chance to see OU. Why not Houston or Rice.

If James Watson is still at Wazzu, we get to see an Oklahoma product play, maybe. I scrimmaged against him once when I played hs ball. Guy is super athletic.
Nevermind, just read that he transferred to K State. So we'll definitively see him play, maybe.
Well, 4 weeks until we open an exhibition game with NEOKST. Wasabi!

Pumped to go to 76 Classic!!!
I was excited about the hiring of Lon, not because I had ever heard of him before, but because he said and did everything right, it seems. He was at Red/White, he threw out a first pitch for OU baseball, he was at the women's softball World Series to support OU, and wow, the announcement that season tickets are just $99, just like the womens games!
I hope some of you that live closer to Nompton get to more games this year. I will be supporting in spirit always and hopefully in person at least once this upcoming season.
My prediction- They'll be hard to watch. Hope I'm wrong.
Maybe 10-2, 6-12 for a 16-14 mark.
I don't think the Big XII is going to be that strong this year, and we play everyone twice.
Mizzou: who is their coach? How long will he be there if anymore Miami stuff comes out?
KSU: lost Pullen, not that good with him anyway
Tech: year one under Gillespie, don't expect much from them
A&M: new coach, who knows?
Baylor: Scott Drew. Meh.
ISU: whatever
OSU: good talent coming in, but we've seen that before under Ford
That leaves KU and Texas, who will both probably be strong but not world-beaters. I still think this team overachieves and gets to 20 wins with an NIT berth. Call it a very crimson-shaded optimistic hunch.
I'm looking forward to the change in Coaching Style this year. I hope attitudes of the players and fans are much improved over last year. I liked Jeff Capel but I think he needed a change. I wish him well and I hope there are no hard feelings.
Did anyone else hear on the Morning Animals first takes this morning when Curtis pointed out OU-OSU pt 1 up in Stoolwater is scheduled for Jan 9, the same day the BCS national champioship game is scheduled for? What a shame the Big 12 and the universities caved to ESPN to show this game at a time slot that, even if somehow neither Oklahoma schools make the national championship game, will cause one of the best rivalries in the Big 12 to play second fiddle in this football mad state.
